Shraddha Dubey’s Location Traced Near Nepal Border in Shiva Sharma Death Case

Lucknow Police are searching for model Shraddha Dubey after a businessman died following a fall from an apartment building, with investigators suspecting that she and her sister travelled towards the Nepal border with help from an old friend.

Shraddha Dubey’s Location Traced Near Nepal Border in Shiva Sharma Death Case

Lucknow Police have intensified their search for model and social media influencer Shraddha Dubey, who is named in a murder case following the death of 28-year-old businessman and café owner Shiva Sharma.

According to reports published on October 13, investigators traced possible movements linked to Dubey near the India–Nepal border in Bahraich district. Police suspect that she may have crossed into Nepal with her sister, but her crossing has not been independently confirmed.

Investigators are also looking for people suspected of helping the sisters leave Lucknow. Police have reportedly formed three special teams to search border areas and follow technical leads.

How Did She Allegedly Leave Lucknow?

According to the reports, Dubey contacted an old friend, identified as Aamir, after Sharma’s death was confirmed at King George’s Medical University (KGMU) Trauma Centre.

Aamir allegedly drove to the medical college, picked up Dubey and her sister, and took them towards Rupaidiha in Bahraich, close to the Nepal border.

Police are reportedly examining CCTV footage from toll plazas, call-detail records and mobile-phone location data to establish the route taken and identify anyone who may have helped them.

The reported journey towards the border is an important lead, but the exact movements of the suspects and their current location remain subject to investigation.

What Happened to Shiva Sharma?

Sharma died after falling from the fourth floor of Awadh Green Apartment in Lucknow’s Hazratganj area on October 9.

His mother, Ranjana Sharma, accused Dubey and other people of murder, alleging that her son had faced threats, blackmail and physical assault. Police registered an FIR naming Dubey, her sister Rashmi Dubey, a man identified as Adil, a driver and other people.

A Times of India report on October 13 said the post-mortem examination recorded multiple external injuries and internal damage, including tears in both lungs. The report cited shock and haemorrhage among the findings relating to his death.

Police are investigating whether Sharma fell accidentally, was pushed or jumped. The medical findings and the family’s allegations are important parts of the investigation, but they do not alone establish who was responsible for his death.

What Happens Next?

Police are pursuing several lines of investigation, including the suspects’ movements after the incident, CCTV footage, phone records and possible assistance from others.

The immediate priorities are to locate the missing suspects, establish the sequence of events before Sharma’s fall and collect evidence that can stand up in court.

The key point: Police suspect that Shraddha Dubey and her sister travelled towards the Nepal border after Sharma’s death, but whether they crossed into Nepal remains unconfirmed. The murder allegations must be established through evidence and legal proceedings.
