Rang De Korea 2026: Delhi Celebrates Korean Culture with K-Pop Band NTX
South Korean Ambassador Lee Seong-ho attends Rang De Korea 2026 at Select CITYWALK, where music and cultural activities bring Indian fans closer to South Korea.
Delhi got a taste of South Korea’s vibrant culture as Rang De Korea 2026 brought Korean music and cultural experiences to Select CITYWALK in Saket. South Korean Ambassador to India Lee Seong-ho attended the event, which aimed to bring people from India and South Korea closer through culture.
One of the main attractions was the energetic performance by NTX, an eight-member K-pop boy band. The group brought the excitement of Korean pop music to the capital, giving fans an opportunity to enjoy the music and performance style that has become popular around the world.
What is Rang De Korea?
Rang De Korea is a cultural festival where visitors can explore different parts of South Korean culture in one place. It is not just about music. Korean culture also includes food, beauty products, traditional games, fashion and entertainment.
The 2026 festival was part of Korea Culture Day 2026, which was organised around the theme “One Light, Two Cities”. The theme draws inspiration from India’s Diwali celebrations and South Korea’s Chuseok traditions, highlighting shared ideas of hope, friendship and togetherness.
At the Delhi venue, visitors could explore Korean cultural experience zones, including activities linked to K-pop, K-beauty, K-food and traditional games.
Why does this event matter for India and South Korea?
Cultural events like Rang De Korea give people a chance to understand another country beyond what they see in films, news reports or on social media.
For many young Indians, Korean music, dramas, food and fashion are already familiar. Events like this allow fans to experience that interest in person and learn more about the country behind the entertainment.
The presence of Ambassador Lee Seong-ho also highlights the importance of people-to-people connections in India–South Korea relations. While governments work together on trade, technology and other areas, cultural exchanges help build understanding and friendship between ordinary citizens.
More than just a K-pop show
The growing popularity of Korean entertainment has created a shared cultural interest among people in India and South Korea. Rang De Korea builds on that interest by bringing music, traditions and interactive experiences together.
The event shows how culture can connect people who speak different languages and come from different backgrounds. A K-pop performance may bring visitors through the gates, but the wider experience can also introduce them to Korean food, customs and traditions.
In simple terms, Rang De Korea is about more than entertainment. It is an opportunity for Indian audiences to discover South Korea and for both countries to strengthen their friendship through shared cultural experiences.
